RAM Magazine : ウィキペディア英語版
Rock Australia Magazine

''Rock Australia Magazine'' or ''RAM'' (its acronym) was a fortnightly national Australian music newspaper from March 1975 to July 1989.〔 Its editorial style was written for the serious rock and pop music reader and fans (as was its main rival, ''Juke Magazine'').
The magazine was founded in Sydney by Anthony O'Grady – a former contributor to the earlier teen-orientated, pop music, weekly newspaper, ''Go-Set'' – and Phillip Mason, a publisher.〔 Its first edition was printed on 8 March 1975 by Soundtracks Publishing.〔 ''RAM'' was modelled on English music trade papers, ''New Musical Express'' and ''Melody Maker''.〔
There were three eras of ''RAM'', each defined by their editors – O'Grady, Greg Taylor and Phil Stafford. The magazine's writers included Annie Burton, Jen Jewel Brown, Stuart Coupe, Andrew McMillan, Clinton Walker and Adam Sweeting.〔Adam Sweeting, "Have Faith and go to the pictures (The Cure interview). ''Ram''. 24 July 1981. P. 15-17〕
By May 1980 it was being published by Eastern Suburbs Newspapers. ''RAM'' published its last edition in July 1989 after running for over 14 years. In March 2012 Brown was the presenter of a radio documentary, '"Paper Trail", for Radio National, which described four newspapers that Brown wrote for, during the 1970s and 1980s, including ''Rock Australia Magazine''.
